This actuator is integrally mounted to the valve with no open yoke and thus has no exposed linkages. It uses an imbalance in pneumatic supply on both sides of the piston to open and close, which results in stiff, repeatable operation. Single, double, or triple springs assist in closing and provide a fail-closed function; other failure modes are available with appropriate external accessories. |

It is available in various sizes to cover our entire surface-valve product line. An optional top-mounted pull-only manual override is also available. Clean, dry pneumatic supply (100-150 PSIG) is preferred.
Control:
This actuator is normally supplied with a double-acting pneumatic positioner that uses either a 3-15 or 6-30 PSIG instrument signal. Electro-pneumatic positioners or I/P converters are also available to accommodate a 4-20 mA control signal. Numerous other options also allow for 4-20 mA feedback as well as Fieldbus and HART systems.Advantages:
